Who We Are

The Fort Worth Hope Center is dedicated to fighting hunger, empowering individuals, and fostering community growth. In recent years, we’ve distributed millions of pounds of food to families in need, with each food basket designed to nourish a family of four for an entire week. Beyond food distribution, our efforts include specialized job training programs, like our Powered Lift Truck Training Courses, which have equipped over 3,000 people with skills since 2007. Powered by an incredible team of volunteers whose contributions of time and effort are valued tremendously! Our mission is to provide hope and opportunity to those who need it most. Together, we are transforming lives and creating a stronger, more compassionate community.

Our program focuses on OSHA-compliant forklift certifications by providing hands-on training for various forklift types, such as electric sit-down and stand-up reach forklifts. We also offer job training for seniors through the Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP), which helps older adults enhance their skills for employment. These programs aim to empower participants with certifications and confidence to succeed in the job market.
